“Rock Against Cancer” is the first release to come out on Sikotick Records and to celebrate we are happy to announce that we are throwing a release party for it.

The party will come in the form of a one-day festival featuring some of the bands from the album. Again with all the money going towards Cancer Research & Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

The festival will take place at the newly re-opened Rigger in Newcastle-under-Lyme (Near Stoke-on-Trent). It’s an amazing new venue that was sorely missed when it closed down but it is now re-opened and it is great to be able to hold the first ever Sikotick Records event here.

It will be taking place January the 28th and tickets will cost a total of £3 to get in. Doors will be open from 2pm and music will carry right on till the end of the night, also advanced copies of the album will be for sale before it comes out in the shops priced at just £5.

Acts already confirmed are Allerjen, Project Valkyrie, Nervaxis, Cherry Roses and Redemption Unnamed

We hope you all can make it down to the day as its set to be amazing look out for more bands to be announced in the future

Due to unavoidable reasons, Bloodshed have be forced to pull out of their propose slot at Rock Against Cancer. No one is at fault it's just one of those things we are afraid.

But in their place we have gotten the mighty Stash Pocket. Formered from the ashes of the mighty Not Shibby (Who's track "March" features on the "Rock Against Cancer"CD) they have been setting the place alight since their inception already having played with the likes of Hudson (Psychophonic Records) and are currently in the process of booking a March tour with The Dissapointments (Feirce Panda Records) and all in a few short monthes.

So get their early to see this fast rising pop-punk band as they wont be playing venues like this forever.

You can check their myspace at www.myspace.com/stashpocket just to see what all the fuss is about.

So the line-up is now as followed

2:00 – Doors open
2:40 – 3:00 - Project 29 - www.myspace.com/project29band
3:20 – 3:40 – Stash Pocket - www.myspace.com/stashpocket
4:00 – 4:20 - (((InfraSound))) - www.myspace.com/infrasounduk
4:40 – 5:00 – Sonic State - www.myspace.com/sonicstate
5:20 – 5:40 – Cherry Roses - www.myspace.com/cherryrosesmusic
6:00 – 6:30 – View From A Throne - www.myspace.com/vfat
6:50 – 7:20 – Seed Factory - www.myspace.com/seedfactorymusic
7:40 – 8:10 – Redemption Unnamed - www.myspace.com/redemptionunnamed
8:30 – 9:10 – Project Valkyrie - www.myspace.com/projectvalkyrie
9:30 – 10:10 – Nervaxis - www.myspace.com/nervaxis
10:30 – 11:30 – Allerjen – www.myspace.com/allerjen

And remeber its only £3 on the door to get in and you can be the first to buy the excellent debut Sikotick Records release "Rock Against Cancer" as well as a whole rang of merch

So don't miss out on the 28th of January at The Rigger

Today we can happily announce the inclusion of 2 brand new bands to the Rock Against Cancer All-Dayer. This comes in the shape of View From A Throne & Seed Factory.

They join already confirmed Allerjen, Redemption Unnamed, Nervaxis, Cherry Roses & Project Valkyrie.

So I expect everyone down there as there are several new bands to be announced in the upcoming weeks for this worthy cause.

The event will take place at The Rigger and entry is £3 and the doors open at 2 and will be on the 28th of January. You will also be able to get advanced copies of the album for just £5
